dedup folder size

Hi all ,

I have HP ProLiant DL380p Generation8 server with 2 TB hard disk . So after taking the data backup in above sceniario ,should i able to dedup data in local server of 2 TB hd or for deduplication another storage device is required ???

You can create your dedup folder on the 2TB disk, but the amount of data that it can hold would depend on how big are your backup sets, how well they dedup and how long you want to keep them.
