More than 600 computers incorrectly reporting Defination Date as 1970
what is the SEPM and SEP version?
Run a scan on one of the client and let know if it updates the latest defnition on SEPM?

This issue was fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 Release Update 5 (11.0.5002.333)

No, we are running schedule scanning on every Friday
does the client shows green dot?
are there any .dat files accumlated on SEPM?
i have the same problem with some of my systems.
I have tried these step.
1. Check the services" Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Event Manager, Symantec Management Client" are started or not , if not started then startup and if error occur to startup then read below doc.
2. Check the Symantec Shield icon reflectinig with green dot, if not then replace the sylink.xml file with working system.
