Definitions not updating?

  • 1.  Definitions not updating?

    Hi @all

    All of my customers (SEP12.1.4 and SEPSBE) currently stuck at the definitions from sunday, 3rd of august R34! Is there a known problem?? Liveupdate runns fine and says "no updates available"!

    No issues reported .. latest defs dates are posted here

    have you checked your proxy / firewall just to make sure nothing is blocking it from downloading

    can you post the lue.log?

    run the intelligent updater and check if that changes the date, if yes then the problem is with SEPM,

    Same here as well. I even updated to latest release of to quell the 0 day issue and the defs are still at 8/3/14r34

    I did try to force a LU on the client itself. No dice.

    Something going on the Symantec side...

    Could you recheck. Definitions should be updating correctly now.

    Same problem in my SEP 11.0.5 environment.  Download LiveUpdate Content in my console comes back with everything being up-to-date.  The fact that even an unmanaged client's defs are stuck at 8/3/14 (ran LiveUpdate on it as well) seems to indicate a problem on Symantec's end.  Glad I'm not alone.  wink

    Yes, fixed. Gives a bad feedling about how Symantec is monitoring their own services....
