I could not find it either

I could not find it either but according to the Aministrator-defined Scans:Advanced

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2008032010461048

It should be enabled by default (on batteries scheduled scans are delayed). I would guess this setting is the same for standalone.

However on a standalone you can do some tune scanning options for optimal performance. If you edit a defined scheduled scan and go to advanced you will find this setting.

Hi

Hi SV,

Been a long time to find this key

navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\AdministratorOnly\General

on the right hand side you will find a key called
SSPowerMgmt
meaning Schedule scan power management :)

if its 1 its enabled ( Delay scan running on batteries is enabled)
if its 0 its disabled(Delay scan running on batteries is disabled)
