    Posted Aug 21, 2012 09:55 PM

    Hello,

I was trying to find a process to delete the data from the D:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\replication\outbox folder. It appears that ther is 17 GB of data being used in a folder called BCE7444EAC15610601E7FE8E1B021575.

Can I just delete this folder?

the next cycle of successfull replication will remove this data, if you want you can manually delete as well, however I may ask you to wait next cycle of replication to over.

    Hello,

What Database are you running? I believe you are running SQL database.

Yes you could delete the file in ....Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\replication\outbox

This may contain huge data when there is a failure in replication.

I would suggest you to Restart SQL Server machine, clean %SEPM_Install_Path%\data\outbox\replication folder content on all SEPM, then run a new replication.

    Hope that helps!!

When there is a failure in replication , data gets stored in the <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\replication\outbox folder

you can go ahead and manually delete it.

although I do agre with pete, the next cycle of successful replication will remove this data too.
