Hi I have just received a new Dell 760 which is to be our corporate replacement for the 755. I am trying to pxe boot with DOS drivers.

I am using e1000.dos dated 1/may/2008 - the oemsetup.inf definitely has the appropriate device ID. My pxe boot image also shows the correct vendor and device Id's

I get the error when trying to first pxe boot machine,
"Altiris pxe nic detection version 1.2, build 1
searching: ....No ethernet PCI Adaptor found!
    Driver Not Loaded.
Ethernet Adaptor Driver(V1.22) [2008/10/13] Installation failed
    Serious Internal Error!"

this appears to be a different error to that when the correct driver and device id's are not in the pxe boot image.

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks Cat

The problem was too many device id's in the oemsetup.inf file, edited out the excess id's and left in only those required for 755's and 760 to boot and all pxe booting fine.
