Dell Client Manager SQL Question

Does the SQL server have to be installed locally for this to work? I have not installed DCM yet, and we have a SQL server, but they will not be running on the same server.

SQL instal not local for Dell Client Manager
Dell Client Manager runs off of your NS database so it doesn't matter if the database is local or off box but do make sure it's a fast connection between the box and the database.
