The streamlined version of Dell Latitude E5450 shows BSOD with following error: stop 0x0000007b (0xfffff880009a97e8 0xffffffffc0000034.....) which keeps pointing to the bios setting / driver issue with hard drive controller according to most forums but no changes to the bios help.
We even have Dell Latitude E5450 with i7 vPro processor (not streamlined like the one with the issue) that is in the environment and images just fine.
This is what I have attempted so far:
- Install OS using USB with the same image but obviously drivers weren't installed. However, as soon as I attempt to install any driver, BSOD is immediate.
- Don't have ODD on this model to attempt an install via CD
- Recorded a video of DB process and removed the last driver prior the BSOD, updated the distribution, updated the preboot config and attempted the imaging again -> end result = same BSOD
Here is our current setup:
- Altiris 7.5 SP1 HF5 (only thing left to update too is 7.6 according to freshly updated SIM)
- We have bare bones image that is used across multiple devices over 3 different vendors that works just fine (Dell, HP and Lenovo)
