This issue has been solved. See solution.

After replace an old Cisco switch with a new Dell switch, our ticketing software (PASS) is running slow in certain places within the program since. We have tried two different Dell switches and got the same results. We tried forcing the ports on the switch and the NICs in the workstations to full duplex, but that didn't seem to help with the slowness. We have put the Cisco switch back in and all seems OK.

Any advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is it ALL workstations, or

Is it ALL workstations, or just a few?

Any VLANs in the mix?

The most obvious thing I can think of is a duplex mismatch - so all connections should be Auto, or all 100 Full. Maybe a config mismatch on the uplink port from this switch to the next "hop" in the network?
