Dell OptiPlex 3010 - Drivers not found in the PreOS

    I'm actually having a few issues:

    - The DNS servers here (not run by me) don't support dynamic updating, so the only way to reference computers here is by IP address. Therefore, unless I'm missing something, I cannot use GSS 2.5 to remote install the client. Is there something I'm missing?

    - I'm currently trying to push an image to a Dell OptiPlex 3010, and I get "Drivers could not be found in the PreOS for the following devices:", so I add the following appropriate line to C:\programdata\Symantec\Ghost\Template\common\WinPE-512-Psy\pci.manifest.txt:

    { 0x8086 = { 0x1c02 = (0x5851028) } }

    ...per the instructions found in http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH110149

    And there's where I run into a problem:

    "Uninstall the client and reinstall remotely."

    ...which doesn't work, as I have no functional DNS servers for internal use, and remote install doesn't seem to work by IP address.

    Also, I'd like to have the GSS client install automatically via a startup script in a GPO in my workstations OU. Does someone have a link to how to script this install?

    Thanks!

    Which devices are listed as not having drivers in your PreOS error message?
