This usually occurs when the
This usually occurs when the storage drivers are missing. You need to add the appropriate drivers in ghost boot package and give it a try.

Hi
Hi ,
The storage driver for this machine may be missing form driver database , you can find this driver at : http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/Downlo... ;
Add these drivers to your GSS server ; You can add the driver from Boot Wizard,and rerun the task ;
Let us know your results.

Tamcac ,
What i understood from your reply is you are running this under WinPE (That is Ghost bootable CD) where you have added the drivers while creating from Boot wizard ; And not using console task ;
If you are running this from WinPE (Ghost Bootable) then just check whether you are following these steps:
1. When you create a Bootable CD from Ghost boot wizard make sure You are adding the correct driver and it is enabled (By default it will not , you have to select it)
2. Prepare a Bootable CD
3. Boot the machine to WinPE
4. Restore the image
5.Check the OS is restore and there is no problem by running the command : Ghconfig32.exe Windows
This should give the details of OS (OS version) and Windows install directory
6. From above command's output (If ghconfig gives windows 2008 installed on C:\Windows) , use the "/target=C:" in the deployanywhere command
7. Run the deployanywhere command :
First run deployanywhere evaluation to check if your driver database has the correct drivers :
- > ghdply32.exe /target=C: /eval /ddb=<Provide the path of driver database - WINDRIVERS>
[You can find the driver database folder in the CD with the name WINDRIVERS]
If the Deployanywhere command execution gives that the driver is missing then you don't have the correct driver in driver database
Go to the vendor site and download the respective driver (You can search by Device is and Subsystem ID)
If deplyanywhere evaluation command does not give any missing driver list , then that means the driver database has the correct driver
8. Now execute the deployanywhere to retarget : -> ghdply32.exe /target=C: /ddb=<Provide the path of driver database - WINDRIVERS>
9. If it gives success , reboot to OS
You can try one more thing that is , Install the 2008 R2 64 Operating System with the OS CD ; if it gives BSOD then that means the OS is lacking the required storage driver;
Let use know your findings

Try a manual install of 2008
Try a manual install of 2008 R2 64 bit using exactly the same drivers you have added to the DA database. Please confirm that you have added only 64 bit drivers.
You could also boot up the server using WinPE and check the partition structure matches the structure on another 2008 R2 server that is working. Since 2008 R2 and Windows 7 share the same code base, I'm expecting they share the same dual partition architecture.
