Deploy Center unable to install under Windows2008 Server

Skipov's picture

I was unable to find within the support section whether Deploy Center can be installed on a Windows2008 Server.
When i use the CD hte option Ïnstall Deploy Center" does noet appeear within the menu.
On a Windows2003 it does appear and I am able to install it.
Is there a workaround or whitepaper how to install Deploy center on a W2008 Server. It would be very annoying if i had to setup a different deployment server.

Any help / suggestions are appreciated.

What version of Deploy Center?

What version of Deploy center do you have?
Have you tried navigating direct to the Deploy Center installer rather than going through the CD menu?

If your issue has been solved, please use the "Mark as Solution" link on the most relevant thread.

Deploycenter for PXE?

Skipov,

Yes, that OS is not supported for Deploycenter. Are you installing it because you use Deploycenter and *.pqi images, or are you trying to install it just for the PXE? If it is just for the PXE component to use with Ghost, I would recommend this  PXE setup:

It is a bit more robust. This is, of course, assuming Ghost SOlution Suite. 2.5. If you are using an earlier version, these instructions would work:

Thank you,
