Hi All

Is there a smart way to deploy HP, Lenovo and Dell drivers and BIOS updates with SMP 7.1/7.5.

I know that they all have seperate tools to deploy Drivers and BIOS, but how do you implement it with SMP?

It is probably best to first deploy the tool so that it is always on the machine, and then use one of the following methods to deploy the drivers and BIOS updates as well as call the relevant syntax to install them via the tool, unless they can be installed like a normal executable:

Managed Software Delivery policy

Legacy Software Delivery policy

Copy File task

Package Delivery task

Quick Delivery task

Hi

But its only for BIOS - what about drivers?

Drivers I only ever do as and when they're needed as a Software Delivery Policy.
