Deploy SEP Client problem for Mac

Hi all,

I need to deploy SEP client to MacOS, I know how to install.

But there is a question as follows:

In my enviroment I have 2 SEPM server are named SEP01, SEP02 respectively.

SEP01 (Site 1)- for Windows XP/7 Desktop and MacOS

SEP02 (Site 2)- for Windows server

When I install these servers, I click create new site on SEP01 & SEP02 in order to totally separate them.

So when I install SEP client for MacOS, how the client choose SEP01 or SEP02?

Hi,

Client will choose that SEPM server only from where you will download the MAC client package.

Was there a reason for sites other than separation of usage? You could have just had different groups in the same site.

Just export the package from SEPM01 and the communication settings in SyLink.xml will mean it goes only to that SEPM
