deploy vulnerability IE add-on via GP

is there any way to deploy the symantec vuluneability browser plug-in via group policy? It woudl be nice if we could do it so our users don't have to worry about clicking yes or no?

The IPS browser plugin is part of the IPS component so it is not separate:

I believe you can do a GPO though to silently accept the change

thats my question

how do I do it? When I launch IE and look at my add-ons, the folder that symantec references houses a DLL file. I cannot find anywhere in GP where I would allow a specific add-on.

 

If someone knows where that object is, I think I should be able to apply and test it.

Did you see the thread I post above which I think contains what you need

USER CONFIG/POLICIES/ADMIN TEMPLATES/WINDOWS COMPONENTS/INTERNET EXPLORER/SECURITY FEATURES/ADDON MANAGEMENT

I'm not a GPO expert by any means but is that what you're looking for?
