Deployment Solution

We are currently in the process of upgrading our phone system to Call Manager 8.5 and we have to deploy Viewmail 8.5 to our customers that are currently running Viewmail 5.x. This new version of Viewmail requires the installation of Direct X, Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package. When trying to push this out via Altiris the .exe jobs are hanging and not pushing out successfully so I was searching for any msi versions of these packages but haven't been successful. I was curious if anyone had any success at deploying this package through Altiris and would be able to assist. Let me know. We are running Windows 7 (64bit) and some customers are still on Windows XP Professional. Thanks.

If the .exe's hang, it probably indicates it not silent and is waiting for user input.  If you're using silent switches, try using unattended or similar switches that give a progress bar.  Any errors or prompts would come to the user in this case.  It could also be a user permissions issue.  Who are you running the tasks as?
