Deployment Console and Linux

I'm sure this question has been so I apologize ahead of time. I've tried searching through the (many) discussions but have found nothing.
Is there a native version of the Deployment console for Linux? Has anyone attempted getting this to work over Wine? Any replies would be much appreciated.
P.S. The web console is not installed on our server.

No, there is DS no console for Linux. About wine it would be interesting to see if this works. Keep us posted.

Well, so far I've been
Well, so far I've been unable to successfully install the Deployment Console on my office Linux box (running Ubuntu 9.04). The installation halts right after I attempt a "Component Install" and throws an error about not being able to find a working network adapter. I've checked my /etc/hosts (you typically have to do this with wine) but everything in there looks good. My connection is active so I'm not sure why it can't "find" it.
I'll spend some more time on it next week. Has anyone else attempted this through Wine?
