I have SEP 12.1 installed on a 2008 R2 Standrad server and from there I am trying to push a new client package to a handfull of Win 7 clients.
The Deployment wizard starts and then freezes at 0%.

If I install locally I am able to do so. How should I proceed?

Re-Run Management server configuration wizard from start all programs SEPM Management server configuration wizard

& then try deploying the package

Rather adding the package and then deploying it

    Hello _Swami_,

Try giving the following document a read and ensuring that you meet the recommended requirements mentioned in it.

    • You are having difficulty deploying the Symantec Endpoint Protection client through the network to a Windows Vista, 7, or Server 2008 system

    Hello,

Here is an Article for you to follow on:

Steps to prepare computers to install Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 client

    The Article states,

Prepare Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, or Windows 7 computers:

Windows User Access Control blocks local administrative accounts from remotely accessing remote administrative shares such as C$ and Admin$. Perform the following tasks:

    ■ Disable the File Sharing Wizard.
    ■ Enable network discovery by using the Network and Sharing Center.
    ■ Enable the built-in administrator account and assign a password to the account.
    ■ Verify that the account has administrator privileges.

    Hope that helps you!!
