What were your specific "confusions"?
Environment? NetBackup versions? etc

The Admin Guide also mentions
The Admin Guide also mentions 'Symantec TechNote 267773' that contains specific config information for the different NAS appliances. Hopefully this will clear up some of your confusion?

Let me explain.............
Hi,
I was reading through the Admin and found the following:-
1. What does it mean NDMP host.
2. Does we have to configure the LUN and all, as default were 0.
3. Does we have to configure seperate network connection between NDMP and SAN. Do we have to specific NIC for this?.
Thanks.

I'm going try and map your
I'm going try and map your answers back to info found ind the manual...
1. What does it mean NDMP host.
The NAS filer
2. Does we have to configure the LUN and all, as default were 0.
Are you referring to this section in the manual on p. 41? :
*****************************************
In the Add Robot dialog box, select the following:
Bus, Target, and LUN values:
Specify these values if the NDMP host requires them. By default, the bus, target, and lun values are 0.
*****************************************
To get the Robot Address, see the doc that I've mentioned in my previous post. There are commands that you can run to obtain adress info on the NDMP host.
If you found another reference to LUN, please share...
3. Do we have to configure seperate network connection between NDMP and SAN. Do we have to specific NIC for this?
SAN connectivity requires a Fibre HBA in the filer that will connect to a SAN switch. This will enable tape drive sharing with other media servers. Drives can also be dedicated to the filer only. There is no direct relationship between the TCP/IP network (NIC connection) and the SAN.
TCP/IP network is explained in the diagram on p. 16 of the NDMP Admin Guide.
FC/SAN diagram/explanation on p. 17.
