    Hello,

I need help in following problem. A scripted installation job has been created and is running fine if installed and applied to a VM.

If the same job has been applied to a physical machine it stucks at the "Staring Windows" screen forever and does not finalize installation.

By using the original DVD I could confirm that all required drivers are part of the Win7 Eenterprise installation file set.

Even if I am going to deploy the Win 7 without an answer file and click during setup GUI it stucks after the second reboot.

Does this belong to the installation files located at network share ?

    Help is very much appreciated.

What I'd try to do is capture the logs generated during the installation.  From the Panther folder.  Then see what's failing during setup.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your comment.

I already checked this. The log created at the VM what is working are equal to the one on the physical machine. No errors on both.

    Regards

makes no sense.  If the setup is not finishing, at a min, the logs should not go as far.  UNLESS the install IS finishing, but it's failing to start...  Makes little sense though...  huh...

It lloks like it was an issue caused by the physical machines used.

After testing different BIOS/UEFI setups the installation worked.

Main setting was having UEFI activated and legacy mode for harddisk as well.

    Thanks for your help
