Deployment Solution

Hi, 

I have a DS 7.1 that is not importing the PreBoot Configuration from the NS, I click on Recreate, and do a Delta Update and then see the Bootwiz spinning up in the Task manager.

I do the same update on the SMA and it doesnt show up anything, even more than 24 hours later I still cant see the boot config.

This has happened a few times now and the only way its been fixed so far is to completely remove and re-install.

Where am I going wrong? 

pl. check that att the 4 services are running when you create Preboot Configurations.

I checked on the NS and the _Symantec_netboot services were not running, tried starting them and they are all running except for _Symantec_NetBoot_Interface which starts and then stops automatically, its up and running on the DS is there an issue here?

I have recreated the preboot config, done a Delta update and then an update in the SMA and its still bootwiz wont show in task manager

Have rebooted both servers now, NS first and then the DS.

Bootwiz is whirring away on the NS and then completes, but still the DS is not starting the bootwiz process or copying the SBS images down from the NS

You're NOT clicking Save Changes, right?
