Deployment Solution

I am new user of Deployment Solution. During my run I was successful in Windows 2003 R2 create image (first prepare for image capture and than create image task) but when deploying same image; computer is asking for license after reboot to production task. The license used is a valid one because I have installed (prepared) Win 2k3 R2 with the same license earlier to take image.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using Sysprep?  Sysprep removes any operating system activation, so if you are not using a volume licensed operating system, you will need to re-enter the serial number and re-activate after booting.

To avoid piracy, Microsoft also de-activate operating system installs if new hardware is detected although this can depend on the degree of change.

So in essence, you need to specify which license type you are using with your install.

Thanks EdT. Yes I am using volume license and the same lic works during indipendent installation. At present I have added license for both x86 and x64 Win2k3 OS also done the create image for both. 

This is just for better understanding of your issue; when you added the lic of both Win 2k3 have you given the description to understand the correct lic for corresponding OS architecture. If not please do so because while creating image deployment task and doing license selection; all the license (32/64 bit) display in the same list and if proper description is not given than wrong license selection can also produce the issue you are having at present. Thanks Vaibhav. Mentioned was the issue at present because I was selecting the lic with thinking that all the listed lic in drop down are applicable here and was selecting x64 lic for 32 bit Win 2k3. My fault but thanks again.
