We need help regarding deleting images of OS that are created in altiris and tasks are made for the same.

We need to remove old OS images and free some memory in hard drive as we are short of memory on it.

Just be cautious of file locations.

The first article llisted should be OK for 7.5  It's been a while.  I can no longer fix it though.  <sigh>

But remember that the second one may be talking about 7.1, and the file locations are VERY different.

I may have said this in the KB, but I'm going to simplify here.  Step 1: delete the image from the SOURCE location as specified in the package definition in the console.  Leave the folder, just delete the image.  Step 2: update distribution points on the package IN the console.  Let it replicate out emptiness.  This way, even if he rest of the process doesn't work, at least you recovered the space.  Step 3: remove what you can from the console via the article.

Clean up of old images, copy file tasks, and the like in DS 7.x is ugly at best.  THAT is something that NEEDS a feature request.
