Desktop Laptop Option not encrypting storage folder

Has anyone ran across this issue, I set up the option to encrypt transmission and storage folder from the begining, but I got a surprise this morning when I checked the folders and learned that its not encrypting. How do I get this app to encrypt the content?

Have you tried to open one of the files or are you just looking at the folder structure and file names.

Check it with the restore job...
If you can see files/folders with a key symbol on it-- Encrypted.
