Desktop user data folder is full

A user that I support gets an error that says, "Desktop user data folder is full". This user is at a remote office almost all of the time, so I suspect this is because he usually is not connected through our VPN when the backups happen. Is there a way to resolve this? Is it a major problem?

Hi
Assuming this relates to the Desktop Laptop Option, and the profile uses scheduled backups, if the local machine cannot see the Storage Location defined for it when the schedule comes round, the data being protected will be copied to an alternate location on that machine. It should then synchronize to the network folder when connected. Two options would be to change the profile to user initiated backup, or try to ensure that the user is connected properly. Have you got the local revisions setting set to 1 or is it higher to retain more versions? This could be taking up additional space.
Hi,
In order to isolate the issue, please verify that there is plenty of space for storing the user data. Verify by changing the storage location to another location.
