Dear mbuenaobra
If your query of oracle is related to DLP database then follow the below. As all Oracle patched cant be updated to any aplication based DB.
In January 2013, Oracle released a regularly scheduled patch release, referred to as a Critical Patch Update (CPU) for Windows and a Patch Set Update (PSU) for Linux, for Oracle 11g versions 11.2.0.2.0 and 11.2.0.3.0. Symantec is making these CPUs and PSUs available to customers who have licensed the Oracle Database through Symantec for use with their Data Loss Prevention software.
For customers using Oracle version 11.2.0.2.0, Symantec recommends installing the October CPU (or PSU) for Oracle 11.2.0.2.0 for all installations of Symantec Data Loss Prevention version 11.5 and earlier.
For customers using Oracle version 11.2.0.3.0, Symantec recommends installing the October CPU (or PSU) for Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 for all installations of Symantec Data Loss Prevention version 11.6 and later versions of v11.
To apply the Oracle CPU or PSU, download the appropriate patch software from the FileConnect portal at https://fileconnect.symantec.com/.
NOTE: Symantec recommends using the OPatch version that is included with your downloaded software. For details, see the January 2013 Critical Patch Update Guide, available with your downloaded software.
Be sure to download and use only the CPU or PSU files that match your platform (Windows or Linux), operating system (32-bit or 64-bit), and your Oracle version (11.2.0.2.0 or 11.2.0.3.0). The downloads consist of a single .zip file containing:
- The CPU or PSU itself
- Condensed instructions (the Critical Patch Update Guide) for installing the software
- The version of OPatch required to install the CPU or PSU
