Hello together,

has anybody created a detection rule which will have a look at a link on a users desktop ?

It is possible to do it on the All Users desktop but I would like to check if the link is still there on the users desktop.

It would be a script that checks IF EXIST and runs in the context of the currently logged on user, which runs once for each user.

@mclemson But that's not a detection rule for the compliance check.... So the policy is always not compliant

Sorry about that.  Just use a Static File Expression with base folder 'Desktop.'  When you create the Managed Software Delivery, for the schedule, click Advanced, and for Run Options, check 'Only if a user is logged on.'
