    Hi,

    iam trying to block USB devices in my environment using symantec device control rule. but after applying update policy also pend drives are detecting.

    how to block that devices.

    hope you are using SEP 12.x.

    has the policy been taken by client?

    did you restart the client once and test?

    yes iam using SEP 12.x

    yes policy taken by client

    not restarted

    Restarted also but pen drive is reading.

    can you check the deviceid tool to know the know exact device id and class id? does it match with what it has been set on SEPM console (default class id for USB)?

    whats the OS?
