Device Monitor 'refresh' errors out

Master Server: NBU 6.5.3
Solaris 10

After 1-2 hours of keeping my Java Console up (windows or unix box), I click on the Device Monitor tab to see if all drives are on UP status. I then click on the REFRESH button, and this is what appears below the list of drives:

ERROR: (below the drive info - bottom dialogue box)
"Intermittent connectivity lost with the server. Please verify servises or daemons are up and re-try the last operations."

I then close the dialogue box and it contiues normally. I can see which drives are good and which needs attention. (I suspect that I really never had an "intermittent connectivity loss".

I would like to know how to fix the error from appearing each time I open the Device Monitor (after an hour or so).

Thank you
Jay Son

By the Way, This also happens

By the Way, This also happens when I REFRESH my Policies tab.

Error message:

ERROR on Title bar: Backup Policy Management
"Intermittent connectivity lost with the server. Please verify servises or daemons are up and re-try the last operations."

After I close this dialogue box, all is fine.
