Is there any video or documentation on publish as a dialog workflow item.
I tried it once, but it only seems to work for one item.

Can dialog workflows only act on one item at a time? or is there something
to do to get it to work on more than one item?

Basically if I select one item, I get my workflow in the menu, if I select more
than one item from NS, I don't get the option for my workflow.

The documentation leads me to believe there is some way to get it to work on multiple items.

Thanks

Are you referring to firing

Are you referring to firing Workflows from a Helpdesk incident screen?

In that case... yes... I'd

In that case... yes... I'd expect it to only work on a one by one basis.

Is this what you want to

Is this what you want to do:

Create a Dialog Item Action that appears in multiple classes' right-click menus off a single publish?

Let me experiment on this a little. You should be able to publish once to multiple classes and have it show up instead of on just one.

Shawn, you may be thinking of him invoking the DIA once and trying to get it to fire across all the items or classes to which it applies. I think you're right there - that won't work. But I think he's just trying to get it to show up in the right-click menus of all the target classes he published to.

I don't want to fire it

I don't want to fire it across multiple classes of items, but across multipe number of items of the same class.
