This issue has been solved. See solution.

So... what's the difference between _ResourceGUID and GUID in Inv_AeX_AC_Identification and why should the GUID be blank in LOADS of cases?

Also, where can I get some detailed documentation on each table and view (that we can use)?

Regards,

The Guid is the indentifier and the resourceguid is used, as I recall, primarily for joining tables together. If the GUID is blank, it is most likely a system that has been discovered but doesn't have the agent. Check here for the schema information: https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=25975&p=1

Has your DB been upgraded from previous installs? While mine has both as well, I wonder if a clean install would have 'GUID'. According to this schema it doesn't exist?!? https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=39279&p=1

_ResourceGuid is definately the PK for that table so don't work about GUID having nulls. Mine has lots as well.
