We use ev2007 SP4 

I'm trying to adjust the policy for archiving the sent items. The global archive policy for the mailbox is quota-based where I want the sent items being age-based.

Through a evpm script (overrideArchiveLocks = true) I adjusted the ev policy for that folder, it is applied and I also give the sent items a different retention category. The rentention category works fine.

When I start the archiving task the items in the sent items are also archived by the quota-based policy and it seems to me the age based policy I've set for sent items is ignored.

Is it possible that you can not combine the age-based and quota-based archiving policy on one mailbox?
