  • 1.  Different total events between THREAT MONITOR screen saver and DeepSight Web site

    Posted Dec 15, 2009 08:36 PM
As you can see below screens from DeepSight Web site and THREAT MONITOR screen saver,
Total events of all continents rather than North America are different with each other.
For instance, Events of Asia on Web are 8.7M but 805,456 on THREAT MONITOR.
May I ask anybody make me sense of it? Thanks in advance.

I let the developers know about the inconsistencies of the two sites. I hope to have a response back after the holidays.
    I will keep you updated.

    Best,
    Thomas

The screen saver is a delayed feed!

It will never match to the Deepsight service which is a paid for service.

If it is a delayed information, it must be not an information because delayed definition is not a definition.

No response from anybody on my mention, If it is a delayed information, it must be not an information because delayed definition is not a definition. I don't understand why Symantec provides wrong information through the screen saver!!!

The information on the screensaver is delayed by 24 hours. It will never match the data on the website.
