We currently have a full backup using archive bit that runs on Wednesday night with BE12. Then Diffs that run Thur, Fri, Mon and Tuesday. Even after the full job runs successfully, the Diffs are all backing up all data. Any suggestions?

Differential Using Archive Bit is backing up all files

What is the OS version that you are backing up?  What type of data are you backing up?  If you are backing up a Linux system you will not be able to use archive bit, but will have to use Modified time.  Also verify that both jobs are set correctly to the same backup method.

Make sure your full backup is

Make sure your full backup is set  to "Full, Using archive bit (reset archive bit)".  If you happen to have selected a different type of full backup, the archive bit isn't changed.

You might also want to check a few files and watch the archive bit.  On Windows, use the "attrib" command to list filed with their attributes.  (i.e. " attrib c:\temp\*.* ")  Make sure it's getting cleared after the full's, and watch if/when it gets set back on through the week.
