directory tree

Hi am new to BE. I back up unix server (Solaris), When i backup it backs up a sub directory Pat_12 ( /usr/local/tmp/Pat_12), it backups the whole tree, the issue is when i do a file redirection restore.I would like to the  restore to go to /archive/customer  but BE restores the the whole tree (/arhive/customer/usr/local/tmp/Pat_12). i only want /archive/customer/Pat_12 not the entire tree.

Is it possible to do this in BE to restore only sub directory and not the entire tree.

Please help it is urgent

Restore job's properties,

Restore job's properties, Settings-General there's an option "Preserve tree". Uncheck that and BE only restores data you have selected, not the whole directory structure. At least that works when restoring to Windows machines.
