Deployment Solution

Hi,

i have a Problem with the installaton of the HP ProLiant Integration Module 3.82 on Server 2008 Standard 64Bit wit an SQL 2005 Server SP1, System is up to date.

The installation process stops on the following Screen and i can't go further. I don't know how i can disable the Console Security. ( Its the first time I work with Server 2008 )

From the screen shot it looks like your upgrading your DS. You need to go into the DS console and disable security under options. Plus I don't know if you installed it while you had that console open but I would think you need to close the console and any other windows before installing.

All windows were closed. I opened the windows to show the configuration.

You need to go to Tools > Security and uncheck Enable Security.

I believe that security installation check will fail if you are using SQL authentication against the database. For HP stuff it requires Windows Authentication.

Security was unchecked! I use SQL authentification. After a simple restart i was able to complete the installtion...

After the installation there was a problem with the DHCP Server. In the PXE Server setup i have to change the radiobutton for the dhcp server deteciton to use dhcp server from 3rd. In the dhcp setup the Option 60 was set but i doesnt work... i think i have some configuration error but i dont solve the problem :-/
