I have unchecked all the boxes in the HI policy yet it still pops up a message on the client. I do not want users to see anything. Is there somewhere else that this needs to be set?

    OK Host not Hot. ;-)

Hmm, that should do it. Did the client pickup the policy change?

Out of curiosity are IPS notifications enabled?

IPS is disabled by policy and those notifications are disabled as well since they would popup anyway. "Protection re-enabled or some such".

We have everything (except LiveUpdate and Anti-Virus) policies set to not enabled.

Sorry. Yes. I moved the test client into Default and enabled the HI policy there at which point I did a Content Update and the message popped up on the client.

    What does the message say?

The only two notifications it would do that I know of are if the HI check fails or if it passes after previously failing. If you unchecked both of these notification in the policy is the message different than these?

"Host Integrity Check Failed" if I remember correctly.

I disabled the policy and re-enabled it.

Do you have multiple requirements in play on the Requirements tab? If so, everything set correctly there?

Kinda stumped on this one...everything looks correct but wouldn't be surprised if there is checkbox somewhere that needs to be unchecked.

No but this is my first run at this. I have found the "Mystery of the Checkbox Location" to be a bit annoying. It seems to be a bit of a theme with this product... but I digress.

Can anyone from Symantec weigh in on this?
