  • 1.  Disable/Hide Chat feature from ServiceDesk

    Hi

    Is there anyway to remove the Chat feature from the ProcessView page in ServiceDesk?

    In our environment Chat is not allowed and we would like to hide/remove this feature from the ServiceDesk.

    You should be able to edit/mark up the PV page off Site Actions - Page List. From the Page list, I'd first export the original page in case things go wrong so you can recover. Then I'd click the page in the list and select Go To Page.

    Once on the page, select Site Actions - Modify Page and Site Actions - Edit Page. Remove any offending web parts once you're at this point. Navigating away after removing webparts should commit any changes I believe.

    Awesome.  I had looked into this but was not sure if this was the correct way to remove it.  Thank for the comfirmation.
