Disconnect from Terminal Server with an "Attack History Graph" graph on the screen
Created: 17 Dec 2010 | 12 comments
Saw the other thread for this but it is locked with no answer. I got this today while RDP into a desktop from the server, both running SEP12.
Was there an answer as to why this happens?

If I understand it, you were
If I understand it, you were disconnected from RDP when you opened Attack History Graph? Did it happen once only or you can reproduce the problem? Check also one thing - what is the color depth of your remote session? Use 16bit or hogher.

If you do a search on my heading you will find the closed thread that discussed this issue but was never answered (it's locked now so I couldnt add to that).
What is happening is that the session disconnects and then as it is automatically reconnecting it shows a Attack History Graph on the screen briefly, very random. Yes using 16bit or higher.
Not a big deal, just freaky and at first I thought it was a nasty on the machine but I am thinking it is a bug in SEP somewhere.
Could you try to connect
Could you try to connect using remote desktop from another machine and see how it works?

To be honest I probably don't
To be honest I probably don't have a any free time to troubleshoot this issue this close to Xmas. I was just curious given that others had experienced the same issue before if there was any knowledge of this around the place. IT's not stopping me doing anything, and most of the time I use different tools to directly remote control the PCs.
Which remindsd me I need to look if I can use PC Anywhere instead of Teamviewer for remote access of PCs over the Internet (not sure it can work the same way).
Well, I asked about colour
Well, I asked about colour depth because I remember some issues with graphs not being shown when RDP was using lor colour mode. But I have never heard about the user having disconnected the whole session...
It would be quite difficult to troubleshoot without more info and trues. Did it happen once only? I would definetelly give a try on another machine.

I suspect the issues is being misunderstood, did you read the other thread about this issue?
What is happening is this:
RDP from server to workstation.
The RDP session disconnects spontaniously
While the RDP session is reconnecting automatically the blank screen has the graph in the top left corner. It is completely random and totally unrelated to what I am actually doing on the server or in the RDP session. It just appears from nowhere for no reason at all. Then as the session connects it is gone.
Not a big deal, it's just a bit wierd and was wondering why the previous thread about it with lots of people posting got clsoed with no answers.
Could you please paste the
