    Hi

I am trying to connect to a customer VPN using Checkpoint Secureremote. I connect to the VPN okay then RDP onto the server. After about 1-2 minutes use I get disconnected with an Attack History Graph black screen on the RDP window. Then after about 2 minutes it connects again and ad infinitum.

I did a search on Attack History Graph and it turns out its to do with SEP. I did another search and saw two threads on here

    http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/disconnect-terminal-server-attack-history-graph-graph-screen

one is abovem it was never answered and was locked eventually.

sygate firewall was mentioned but never any solution.

Does anyone know why it keeps disconnecting ? Is it SEP causing it ?

    Hi varkanoid,

If there have been no replies in last six months, it will be locked automatically.

About your issue, what's your SEP version ?

For SEP 11.x, SEP 11.0.7 MP1 is the latest upgrade.

For SEP 12.1 , SEP 12.1 RU1 is the latest upgrade.

However it is recommended to use SEP 12.1 RU1.

    SEP 12.1 had following issue & it's been fixed in 12.1 RU1

Check Point VPN cannot start or terminates unexpectedly when SEP 12.1 is installed

    Fix ID: 2494474

Symptom: The Check Point VPN cannot start or terminates unexpectedly when SEP 12.1 is installed on the client.

Solution: The SymTDI driver was modified to prevent this crash.

Also , it is recommended to use best practice guide while using SEP with Terminal server.
