Please I need help setting up a network discovery on our notification server to scan the network for any new device on the network and send out a report daily.

I recommend to read Section 2 ("Discovering Symantec Management Platform resources") in the "Symantec™ Management Platform 7.1 SP2 User Guide".

Thanks for the guide it really did help but it doesn't show how to send out report via email after a scan. please anything help?

For example, under Manage > Automated Policies, you find a New computers discovered in this Past Day automated policy that you can schedule to run.
