Disk Partitions are not visible after install of App n Dev Contrl on Clients

  • 1.  Disk Partitions are not visible after install of App n Dev Contrl on Clients

    I installed Symantec Application and Device control and by mistake i selected harddisks in blocked devices and clients are unable to see their some partitions.
     
    one user have 4 partitions and unable to see the last one other is unable to see second partition and so on.
     
    Action Taken:
     
    I removed the App and Dev policy from server and updated on clients (but partitions are not enabled)
     
    I removed symantec-client from my client but no use.
     
    I connected one affected harddisk with my other computer and that partition is visible and accessible.
     
    Configuration:
    Server
       Windows server 2012
       SEPM 12.1
     
    Clients:
       Windows 7 x64
     
    Help Required:
    How can I reclaim partitions on client computers with less efforts please.

    Did you reboot after removing?

    if you go in to the disk management section (assume your on win7?) do any partitions show up?

    Clients are online and new policy is applied on clients?

    Checking the policy serial number on a client

    From affected clients

    You can go to device manager - Disk Drives.

    Any of the HDD is shown in block?

    Enable if it shown as block.
