My pen drive was working fine but when i have applied the policy of usb block, i don't know what happen but my pen drive not work.

error - disk is write protecting

It not be work any of the system now.

You need to exclude your pen drive for blocking.

trying disabling and enabling your USB from device Manager

right click my computer - Manage

 

I have tried but not work. Same usb is open on other system but when formatted it shown the error.

What happend when you will be withdraw ADC policy ?

on your machine, go to addrremove programs, select SEP

modify remove NTP, keep only AV/AS

reboot the box, once up

check if your USB works

if it works then its the policy which is blocking

what's the exact version of SEP here? removing components should be a last resort

Have you install any third party tool/ symantec pgp?

Not be work. Try all the troubleshoot. Also tried in safe mode. Disk is write protected.

One more add on.

I have tried to delete the internal file but delete option is not avaialble.

I have also go to manage -> Disk Management. It status is read only.

Have you try to check another system ? Can u share error screen shot ?

If it is not be sort out as any of the above solution then it sure that it is not be lock by symantec.

Any third party tool has block it.

For the last verification. You can try it on that system where sym antec not available.

This error nt related to symantec. May be pendrive are encrypted or some bad sector are available.you can try fresh system if pen drive nt work you can format pen drive.

I will try on fresh system.
