I have a couple of HP DL585 G1 servers, both behave in a similar manner this week.
They both have
16 GB of memory
HP 7781 embedded NICS
Emulex SAN cards - with luns attached
I am using the WINPE 2.1 PXE environment
According to the CISCO switch they are connected at 1000/Full, no errors reporting
When the imaging job is executed, the RDEPLOY calculates 3 to 4 hours for a download of an image on servers that should not take 10 minutes. The job did complete after 3 hours on the first one.
I have checked cables
I have disabled NICS
I have disable Emulex adapters
I have checked all possible combinations of cabling
I have the latest and greatest firmware for both the BIOS and all adapters
I have queried the network engineers,
I have reconfigured the WinPE 2.1 twice now, both as a boot disk image for the iLO and on the PXE configurator.
But still, when all is done, the image is slow as molasses. And this does NOT occur on the DL385 G1, G2, or G5. or the DL 785 G5.
Any suggestions short of rebuilding the RDP server?
