DLOCommandU to MigrateUserSL with error

Created: 18 Jul 2012 • Updated: 18 Jul 2012 | 1 comment

I use the following command to move all User backup from old server to new server

DLOCommandu.exe /migrateUserSL /SI 10 /NI 20

it run smooth for 10+ users and suddenly the following error appears

Unhandled exception :ADODBError-_com_error: foundationerror=80004005, comerr=80004005, nativeerror=0, conn=Provider=SQLOLEDB;Initial Catalog=DLO;Integrated Security=SSPI;Net=dbnmpntw;Address=\\MyBackupServer\pipe\MSSQL$DLO\sql\query;Connect Timeout=20, query=SELECT UserName,UserDomain FROM SUser WHERE UserID = 1234, msg=Unspecified error, src=Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server, desc=Connection failure

after that the migration stopped.

i need to manually run the migration again.

How can I solve it?

Thanks.

Did you also try this:

First you need to run the
DLOcommandU.exe -ListSL to get the RecordID for the New Storage Location

Than try the command
DLOcommandU.exe -MigrateUserSL -NI <RecordID found in first Step for new storage location> -U <username as shown in DLO console> (Here you can specify -P the profile so that all users from that profile would migrate their NUDF)

Hope this helps.
