DLP 11.1.1 Endpoint Agent on Citrix XenApp 5.0

Hello,

Does anyone have any documentation that shows that DLP Endpoint Agent is supported on Citrix XenApp 5.0? I have the Requirements Guide and Knowledge Base Articles that communicate 4.5 and 6.0 are supported, but I can't find anything that clearly communicates that 5.0 is.

When installing DLP Endpoint Agent onto a Citrix XenApp server, there are 2 main Windows OS versions supported:

  • Windows Server 2003 Enterprise (SP1, SP2, R2) -- Windows Server 2003 64 bit is not supported.
  • Windows 2008 Enterprise R2 (x64)  --  Only R2 release is supported.

Practically speaking, this limits the versions of XenApp which will be supported for hosting DLP Endpoint Agents in a Citrix environment:

  • XenApp 4.5 (aka Presentation Server) only supports Windows 2003
  • XenApp 6 provides support for Windows Server 2008 R2

XenApp 5 only supports the initial release Windows 2008, therefore, it cannot host supported a OS for DLP Endpoint Agent install.

Find the solution, i hope this will resolve the issue
