DLP agent says "shut down" v 11.6.1

My agent sitting in "shut down" status,  connection says "connected" I cannot perform any actions to try to get it to enable, the version is 11.6.1.
When I try to set it to enble message comes up "one or more of the selected agents are shut down and cannot receive troubleshooting taks.  Please try again later.

I reinstalled the agent thinking it will fix it but the only thing it changed is the connection changed to "connected" but under the status it still say "shut down"

Hi,

Did you check any DLP service are stopped mode ?

James, can you walk me through this, im pretty new to this app, btw this an agent for my pc, I was originally trying to change my ep server to a test from production.

I logged on to the enforce server -->run / services.msc and i did not see any servces stopped, I also checked the endpoint server that my agent currently resides on.

I got it to work by deleting my agent from the console first, ( action drop down / delete)
uninstalled agent AgentInstall64 on the pc
rebooted, reinstalled AgentInstall64 and it started working.
