This issue has been solved. See solution.

What I need to make a hot backup of DLP 9.x?

Assuming that I use Netbackup with agent for Oracle I just need to configure the RMAN and make a job to backup the database (using the standart method like as any other DB) and the Vontu Folder?

Thanks,

Symantec DLP doesn't support Hot Backup.
You can use the Oracle Hot backup feature, but it is not supported by Symantec.

OK, I know that's not supported but i wanna try this method because I think this is more reliable than cold backup.

My question is, I need to do some trick to hot backup work or I follow the standart method like any other Oracle DB?

The Hot Backup solution could cause Oracle-Vontu issues, and i would recommend using it very carefully.
You will need a DBA to backup the DB and delete the archive logs so it won't get full.

Please refer to the Article ID: 44926 on the vontu Knowledge base:

"Encountering ORA-16038, ORA-19809, and ORA-00312 errors while attempting to start the DB"
