This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hello everyone!

Working on a DLP solution for the department of justice in my country. However, I've just read on the forum that Google Chrome is no supported in terms of blocking data.

I think it's such a bad thing that a complete security solution has this type of failures. :S

So, is there anyway i can make Google Chrome work with DLP??? I'm using Endpoint Prevent solution, so maybe using other part of the solution could it be supported???

Thanks. And really hope a solution.

you can use application monitoring for monitoring the upload through google chrome browser.

Does it really work? Because for me it doesn't. Please, if so, would you give some details how it must be set up!

Thanks in advance!

My case is the following:

[Detecting and] Blocking confidential data from Google Chrome. Like it works on IE and Firefox, but in Google Chrome doesnt

have you added chrome under application monitoring. if not add it

open DLP console  System> Agents > Application Monitoring

as Name type Google Chrome

as Orginal name type chrome\.exe

an apply to network access, filesystem activity

also you can check this link

Hi Haro,

You can do above things with Application monitoring feature of DLP but there are some bugs/insufficeincy to montoring and supporting to all application with this feature. For your above query please refer below
