    Hello,

My problem is that when I'm transferring compressed format of data (cca 10GB) from client (total commander) to ftp server through DLP and proxy (ironport). My transmission is interrupted (not immediately, it seems like expiration connection when dlp works?).. I'm not sure how does your DLP work? When the situation is standard, so data are going into proxy through DLP back to proxy and to the internet., isn't it?, but how is the behavior of DLP when I use FTP for communication? There is used ICAP protocol (how does ICAP work here?) and mirroring ftp communication from proxy to DLP? Basically, I would like to ask you if you can describe to me how does DLP work if I use FTP communication. My opinion is that DLP has to catch each communication because it has to check if data are permit or not, so in this case how long it can be, if I am transfering 10 gb data like compressed format through ftp port, theoretically... or if you have any idea  what is the reason with expiration connection (clien/server/proxy/dlp or fw?)?

    Thank you.

    Adam
